Adedeji's statement, made during an interview with Channels TV, highlighted that Tinubu has not been physically present in the office, opting instead to work remotely. This departure from the usual presidential routine has sparked speculation and curiosity among Nigerians.
Adedeji further revealed that Tinubu's mode of transportation to and from the office has also been a subject of interest. It was reported that the President uses a luxury SUV, an Escalade, which has raised eyebrows and prompted questions about the practicality and necessity of such a vehicle.

The Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has confirmed that the President indeed uses this particular SUV, stating that it is part of the official fleet. However, he clarified that the President only utilizes it when he travels to the office, suggesting that it may not be a regular occurrence.

"The President travels from his residence to the office by foot, and he only uses the vehicle when he returns home. Where did you see this vehicle? Was it in the garage when he became President?
"Why can't the President of Nigeria have an Escalade? May God forbid that we should despise our country."
